Apollo Gas is a Petroleum exploration company which was incorporated in August 2009. The core assets of Apollo Gas include seven Exploration Licences which are held by Macquarie Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo Gas.
Macquarie Energy was established in 2005 with the objective of assembling a diverse portfolio of prospective Petroleum Exploration Licences in NSW.
Over the past four years Macquarie Energy has conducted technical studies and field activities to prioritise exploration targets. |

Apollo Gas will continue the exploration and appraisal program with the objective of establishing Reserves and advancing the development of the Exploration Licences.
Apollo Gas’ exploration portfolio covers approximately 23,600 km² of the Sydney-Gunnedah Basin. The Sydney-Gunnedah Basin extends northward into the Bowen Basin and is overlain in the north-west by the Surat Basin.
